Protect Your Account with Overdraft Services

When you do not have enough money available to cover a transaction, we pay it anyway. Our Overdraft Disclosure contains important information about your account balance; how payment and deposit transactions are posted to your account; when we consider your account to be overdrawn, the fees you may be charged if your account is overdrawn and our Overdraft Protection Programs.

We offer two different types of overdraft protection.

Overdraft Protection

If we have approved an overdraft protection program for your share draft/checking account, we may honor debit transactions when your Account has insufficient available funds by transferring funds from another Account or a line of credit, as you have directed. Landmark will transfer funds from your other deposit account(s) or linked lines of credit to your checking account when the available balance in your checking account is not enough to cover a transaction. A $5 Overdraft Transfer fee will be assessed for each transaction that is covered under the Overdraft Protection. Please note, certain types of transfers from your savings account are limited to no more than six per month; this limit includes transfers for overdraft protection.

How to enroll:

  • Open or maintain a separate deposit account, or eligible line of credit
  • Visit your nearest branch location or contact us and let us know that you would like to set up Overdraft Protection

Premium Overdraft Protection

Premium Overdraft is available for checks, internet bill payments and ACH transactions. If you would like your ATM and one-time debit card transactions to be covered by Premium Overdraft as well, see the opt-in details.

How to enroll:

  • We will review your account after 90 days and will approve this service if your account qualifies.
  • Complete the Opt-In form if you would like Premium Overdraft for ATM and debit card transactions.
