With the help of hundreds of their credit union member/customers and their 530 employees, Landmark Credit Union raised $36,618 for Children's Hospital Foundation by selling $1 "Links" and $10 "Hearts" during their Credit Unions for 'Kids Chain of Hearts' campaign. This represents a 13.4% increase over the total dollars Landmark raised last year.
Landmark Credit Union announced the promotions of Eric Kase, Dave Pecsi and Chuck Schuyler.
Landmark Credit Union has named Jay Magulski its new CEO. Magulski assumes the post with the retirement of long-time CEO, Ron Kase. Magulski was named President in May of 2011, as part of the succession plan formulated by the Board of Directors.
Badger Campus Credit Union, with $13 million in assets, is merging with Landmark Credit Union, pending regulatory approval and a vote by the Badger Campus members. Badger campus and Landmark Boards of Directors have already approved the merger.
Landmark CEO Ron Kase, who led Landmark Credit Union to a milestone in September 2012 reaching $2 billion in assets size, is retiring after 39 years with the credit union. When Kase joined Landmark, then named Chabelco Credit Union, as a manager in 1973, the credit union had just one location, $2 million in assets, four employees and just over 2,300 members. Today, Landmark has grown to 28 branches, over 500 employees and more than 200,00 in members.
