    How are exchange rates determined on credit cards?

    A 1% charge will be assessed for any transactions made in a foreign country. Visa® International will convert foreign currency to US dollars using either the government-mandated exchange rate or the wholesale exchange rate in effect one day before the conversion date as applicable. See the Credit Card Agreement and Disclosures brochure sent with your card for more information. Please contact our Credit Card Department to request a new copy.
