Open an Account
When it comes to opening an account, we’ve got you covered! You can open an account online for most checking, savings, other individual products, or joint accounts. You can also schedule an appointment to open a personal checking or savings account at a branch.
To open accounts for minors, as agent under a power of attorney, trusts or businesses, you need an appointment because more documents will be required. The same applies for health savings account (HSA) or individual retirement account (IRA) openings.
If you choose to open an account at the branch, and you’re over 18 years old, a branch associate will verify your photo ID. Remember to bring along any relevant documents that may be required according to the account you wish to open. Most accounts require two forms of ID. See the list below for acceptable forms of ID to bring:
Acceptable forms of ID include:
-
Current Wisconsin driver's license or Wisconsin State ID
Plus one of the following:
- Current utility bill with the same address as license
- Current pay stub with the same name and address as license or ID
- Milwaukee County ID
- VA ID
- Passport
- Debit card or credit card of another financial institution
- Military ID
You can apply online for most loan products. This includes most home, vehicle, and personal loans. One of our lenders will contact you to schedule an appointment. If you have questions before applying, you can schedule an appointment in your preferred branch to talk with an associate. Please do not use the appointment booking service to schedule your loan closing.
