Ransom was a major driver behind the creation of Landmark's brand and in 2011, Landmark was named #2 in the nation for strong brands among credit unions of $1 billion or more by Bancography Inc., a Birmingham, Alabama banking industry analyst. During her tenure she saw Landmark's assets grow from $178 million to over $2 billion.
In addition to developing the marketing department and creating plans to increase Landmark's presence within Southeastern Wisconsin, Ransom enjoyed spending time talking about the benefits of credit unions with local and state politicians.
"Pat believes strongly in the credit union philosophy of people helping people. She not only is a strong supporter of Landmark, but also the credit union movement as a whole," said Landmark CEO, Jay Magulski.
While Ransom was busy promoting Landmark, she still found time to volunteer for several organizations including the Wisconsin Credit Union League, Girl Scouts, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and United Way. She is also a Sunday school teacher at her church. Ransom plans to continue her volunteer work in retirement and write a children's book.
Landmark Credit Union is $2.1 billion strong, with 534 employees who serve more than 209,000 member/customers at 29 locations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
