Community Involvement

Giving back to the community.

Through the years our credit union has grown, and continues to grow, in many southern Wisconsin communities. As active members in these communities, we work to strengthen and support them through partnerships with various charitable organizations, service groups and at community-based events.

Our Community

Landmark Credit Union and its associates have a long history of giving back to the community. The philosophy of “people helping people” stretches beyond our membership and into the communities we serve. Landmark is committed to and supports community, civic, educational, cultural and human service organizations.

Our Annual Contributions

Annually, Landmark supports the United Way. Most recently, Landmark matched Associate donations dollar for dollar and together we donated over $175,000 to benefit communities in Southern Wisconsin.

The Links Sale for Children’s Miracle Network is another annual event supported by Landmark. During February, Landmark Associates sell paper links and hearts with all proceeds benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. The most recent sale raised over $47,000.

Landmark also gives to many local organizations to benefit those facing adversity, to educate youth as well as to support events that help enrich the communities it serves. A special focus is given to programs that foster financial education. Landmark itself conducts financial education workshops to benefit members of the community including topics such as home buying and understanding your credit report.

Associates at Landmark are encouraged to support their communities by volunteering their time and talents. Many associates work with and serve on the boards of local charitable organizations, while others participate in events to raise funds for specific causes.
